A Southern Girl Trying to Make a Difference in Sin City

Pardon the interruption.  School is back in session.  I have been busy raising hell and changing the world.  This do-gooding mantra of mine often results in my inability to prioritize writing.  I am working on it.  I know as much as any writer that you must carve out the time to write, yet I often fall into the trap of putting off until tomorrow what should be done today.  I recently read a quote about writing that resonated with me.

You have to finish things — that’s what you learn from, you learn by finishing things. ~ Neil Gaiman

So many ideas, so little time … There I go again.  I really have to stop doing that and finish the things I start.  Every excuse is a choice to fail.  Today I am choosing to find a way, not an excuse.

And yet, you were able to sit down and pound out words. See? You did just fine.

Finishing. Yeah, I could stand to work on that. Kind of a lot. Thanks for the kick in the pants.

    Stopping by from SITS.
