On Being Creative

Dear Blogging Gods and Goddesses:

Thank you for sending this to me in my RSS feed many moons ago.  I starred it to come back to in times of need.  Today is a time of need.  The muse is very quiet today, but I think she is learning that being creative is easier said than done.  I am working on it.

P.S.  Tomorrow I’ll be taking a break online (#6) to support the SOPA strike.  Now that’s creativity.

Odds & Rear Ends

I have a blogger confession:  I lurk.  I read scores of blogs in my reader; some of them I have been fans of forever and have never commented.  I know I have a few people who do that here and did on the previous blog as well.  I made a discovery back in October via a Today Show link on Twitter after his appearance there that I wish to share with you today.

Ben Davis is one of the most inspiring people I have never met.  He is true example of being the change.  I used to brag that you will never catch me running unless I am being chased.  Everyone I know who runs tells me that it is a mental sport.   After following along with Ben’s journey and perusing his archives, I know I am finally ready to do whatever it takes to have people standing up and saluting my ass.  Today I dusted off the treadmill and started my own journey to do life.  I believe my odds are better than pretty good.
